When contacting clients by telephone, we have to cover the whole range of business matter in a limited time, so we have to be very brief and efficient in every minute available. As a matter of a fact, we talk all day, but how to talk is obviously a somewhat neglected art.

To be specific, firstly, you should make sure that you call your clients at the right time, because it is impropriate, impolite and very annoying to disturb your clients when they are in the middle of something. To put it in another way, the perfect timing is the key point.
