雅思口语part2参考范文

I'd like to talk about my idea of a perfect vacation. As I live in Spain, I normally like to visit cities when I go on vacation, to soak up some different types of culture. Of course, there is plenty of culture here on this lovely little piece of paradise, but every now and again I need to leave and visit a busy bustling city. My perfect vacation would probably lead me to New York.

I have visited New York once and I can't wait to return, the noise, the lights and the non-stop energy of the city makes it a great place to go. I would visit the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and The Met Museum to see both traditional and modern art, before planning my way through the city. Visiting Central Park, 5th Avenue to window shop, Times Square, The Rockefeller Centre and even the Statue of Liberty. There are other places I would like to visit, which include the Natural History Museum, the sex and the city tour and to see a Broadway show. I would also like to see the restaurant close to Times Square that is decorated like a 1950's diner, where the waiters and waitresses get up on the tables to sing. I have heard they are all amazing and the experience is one that you will never forget.

When I visit again, I will take my husband as he has never been before. he really enjoys travelling and seeing new places, he enjoys looking at famous architecture, so I know that he will want to visit the Empire State building and ground zero, where the twin towers used to be. We could also sample the food whilst in the city, with breakfast in art deco diners, lunch from small cafes in the park and dinner in a different place every night.

This would be my idea of a perfect vacation because it allows us to have a different lifestyle for a week, which is a refreshing change from the quiet, but stunning place we live in now. I like to feel inspired from my vacations, visiting places that give me ideas and make me feel energised. New York is such an amazing city that you can feel the buzz around you of people living their lives. Visiting a busy city like this, makes a vacation feel exciting and full of energy, which is ideal in my perspective.

雅思口语part2参考范文

Gosh, this topic is hard for me, I don’t really go to many sporting events, and it isn’t especially an interest of mine. However, I can think of one which enticed me to go and watch, I’ll tell you as much as I can about the event, how often it takes places and why it was, to me at least, interesting!

The sporting event I went to was Le Tour de France – except it wasn’t! For one year only the opening stages took place near to where I live in South Yorkshire, but more of that later.

The event is a world famous cycling race. It takes place every year, in a series of stages which are mainly in France, but it does occasionally pass through other countries. I think it started around 1903 and has taken place each year since then – apart from during the two world wars when obviously it was suspended. The cyclists are professional riders, and the tour is gruelling. To be honest, I get very confused about how it is all timed and organised, but I do know that for each stage, the rider who has completed it in the fastest time gets to wear a yellow jersey for the next stage of the tour.

The race has fallen foul of cheating over the years, famously Lance Armstrong who won it some seven times I think was later banned for drug taking. However, more recently cycling has cleaned up its act and gained in popularity. Although I’ve never previously been interested in cycling, some of my friends are, and with such a world famous event happening on my doorstep I wouldn’t have wanted to miss out.

I was really proud to be one of the supporters on what was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see The Tour de France passing through practically on my doorstep (I live in Sheffield).

雅思口语话题范文:网吧游戏开黑

The thing that my friend has done but I have not done is playing games in the internet cafe.

我的朋友已经做了,而我还没有做过的是在网吧玩游戏。

Internet cafe in China has a different image from that abroad. It is regarded as a rotten place by most middle-aged people. They believe that only those who frequently fail their subject or are unemployed would go there. It is always suffused with smoke from cigarettes and everybody there is addicted to games. If you go in, you will soon become like them. Having been surrounded by this idea since I was a little child, I have never been into internet cafe even though there are many near my school.

网吧在中国有一个坏的形象。

But my friend, Xiaomin, is different. He had gone there since secondary school. And playing games in the internet cafe takes most of his leisure time. At first, he went there without telling his parents, because he knew they would not agree. Then he came into college and there is no need to sneak.

我的朋友小明是重读网吧游戏迷。

Quite to my surprise, Xiaoming is not a bad student. He achieves great grades in every course and treat others in good manners. When we play together, he would talk about internet cafe now and then, and regard my opinion towards it as a stereotype, which should be abandoned. Smoking is even prohibited in most internet cafes. This article is from Laokaoya website. Do not copy it or repost it. He says that it is much more interesting and exciting to play games sitting beside your friends in internet cafe than playing them alone at home. The feeling is irreplaceable. Since then, I have always wanted to experience what it is like to play games there, but until now, I have not got a chance.

从任何一方面看,小明都是一个优秀的学生。我也想尝试一下和朋友一起在网吧并排坐完游戏的感觉。
